Time for a Change

Posted: September 22nd, 2010. – By: Marcey – 1 Comment

Well it was time to add some color to my all white bed at home.  I was getting tired of that look, and needed a little color for the fall.  I love this time of year, (the heat really got to me this summer) the fall leaves are starting to turn and the air is abit cooler, it's time for me to get inside and start cooking warm fall soups and chili and changing my decor from fresh and summery to warm and cozy.  The pics shown is a before and after of the summer look verses the winter look.  I used the same base pattern "Evening Glory" and by changing the sheet color and accent color from white in pic. 1, to paprika and emerald in pic. 2, it totally changed the look without spending alot of money, and it takes away the boredom of everything the same all the time ( I need change!)  I have talked about this Spun Silk line before,  the prices are great, and they are up to 15 colors now.  From bedskirts to drapery panels to a variety of fun toss cushions.  I love them!  So it's time to light your warm and spicy candles, ( I have plenty of new autumn scents in stock) and going indoors to our warm and cozy havens.  Happy Fall!

Great look Marcie.  You are so good at decorating.  Love what you do with colours.
